What’s Happening in Dubuque?

The event kicks off bright and early at 9:00 AM and runs until 4:30 PM, followed by an after-party from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Whether you’re a fan of classic cars, tricked-out trucks, stylish jeeps, or roaring motorcycles, there’s something here for everyone. Ryan Spear from Toys For Trucks shared his enthusiasm, saying, “We want this thing to be an enthusiast's show. We’re not just singling out old cars, new cars. We want everybody to come out and have a good time.” Check out our quick chat with Ryan below.

Show Off Your Ride!

One of the highlights of the day is sure to be the Rev Battle. This is your chance to see (and hear) some serious engine power. Participants get 30 seconds to rev their engines to the max, with the crowd deciding who’s got the best roar. Ryan Spear explained, “It’s a unique thing we’re going to be giving everybody 30 seconds, kind of just like back-to-back. You back one car up to the other or truck, motorcycle, or whatever you want to bring out. You get 30 seconds to rev your car out and see what the crowd says is better.”

Exciting Extras for Family Fun!

But that’s not all. The event also features the 563 RC Summer Drags. If you’ve never seen high-speed electric RC cars in action, you’re in for a treat. Registration for the RC Drags starts at 10:30 AM, with the first run at 11:00 AM. It’s a family-friendly event, and kids will love watching these miniature speed demons race at the top of the grandstands.

“We actually just got lined up with this local group in the community. They’re going to run them right on top of the grandstands. It’s going to be something that kids will love seeing.”
