Vote For Your Dubuque Fighting Saints Plays of The Year

While the 2022-23 Fighting Saints season has officially come to an end, there is still one more competition to be finished; the Fighting Saints Play of the Year tournament. Right now, fans can once again vote for and select the Play of the Year from the 2022-23 campaign through a 26 "team" bracket-style tournament.

Throughout the year, the Fighting Saints have posted the US-Cellular Call of the Game weekly and the Top 5 MOO-ves of the Month presented by Prairie Farms. After the season, they have selected the best of the best and put them into a bracket. In total, there are three hits, six saves, five goals by defenseman, and twelve goals by forwards with fourteen different players represented.

Fans can now vote to advance plays on to the next round based on bracketed match-ups at DubuqueFightingSaints.com or follow along on their Facebook and Twitter pages to vote. Voting for each round will open at 4 pm CT and will last approximately two days for each match-up, all culminating in the 2022-23 Play of the Year being announced during the 2023 Main Camp on Friday, June 16th.

The schedule for each round of voting is as follows:

• First Round Left Side - May 24-26
• First Round Right Side - May 29-31
• Second Round Left Side - May 31-June 2
• Second Round Right Side - June 5-7
• Third Round - June 7-9
• Final Four - June 12-14
• Championship - June 14-16

Each match-up on DubuqueFightingSaints.com will show both plays and have a poll for fans to vote on the better play, with the highest vote total advancing. Fans may only vote once per match-up. Winning plays will be updated within this story as well as on our social media pages.
