The Dubuque Fighting Saints and Dubuque Screw Products announced a new initiative called ONE GOAL on Tuesday (10/11). According to the press release ONE GOAL was created to introduce the Dubuque community to the game of hockey, introduce the sport to those who have not played, instruct current players on the skills of the sport, and to be committed to the ONE GOAL to continue the growth of hockey within our local youth community.

For every goal the Fighting Saints score during the 2022-23 season, Dubuque Screw Products will be making a monetary donation to the Dubuque Youth Hockey Association (DYHA) in the name of ONE GOAL.

Introducing youth to the experience of hockey and providing further instruction opportunities to those who play aligns with one of Dubuque Screw Products corporate goals; to always provide ongoing training and development of their team.

To date, the Dubuque Fighting Saints have scored 14 goals through four games of the 2022-23 campaign.

Saints Vice President of Business Operations Caeys Weits said;

“As has been our goal since day one, the Fighting Saints are committed to growing the game of hockey in Dubuque. Partnering with Dubuque Screw Products allows us to give back to Dubuque Youth Hockey through our performance on the ice. This promotion will give back in so many ways and we are happy to continue the development of Dubuque Youth Hockey both on and off the ice.”
