“That Little Ol’ Band From Texas” has been at it for well over a half century, and tonight you can see them in Dubuque at the Five Flags Center! ZZ Top, delivers rock, blues and boogie on the road and in the studio to millions of devoted fans. Catch the beards, hotrod cars, spinning guitars and that magic keychain, all of which transcend the classic rock world!

Their third album, 1973’s Tres Hombres, catapulted them to national attention with the hit “La Grange,” one of the band’s signature tunes.

Eliminator, their 1983 album was something of a paradigm shift for ZZ TOP. Their blues skew was intact, but they added  tech-age trappings to the mix and soon found a visual outlet with such tracks as “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Legs” on MTV. It was one of the music industry’s first albums to have been certified Diamond, with US domestic sales exceeding 10 million units.

They have sold hundreds of millions of records over the course of their career. They have been officially designated as Heroes of The State of Texas. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and have been referenced in countless cartoons and sitcoms. They are true rock icons that continue to do, what they’ve always done.

You'll also enjoy Gov’t Mule tonight, a group known for melding a variety of genres — rock, R&B, jam, funk, jazz, and everything in-between. Indeed, Gov’t Mule have never been known to rest on their laurels or shy away from a new challenge. Theirs is a sound that feeds off spontaneity and improvisation, a signature style that pays little heed to expectation, predictability, or needless repetition.

Catch both of these rocking bands tonight at the Five Flags Center in Dubuque! Show starts at 7pm!
