Smoochin’ Pooches: Send a Valentine to a Dubuque Shelter Pet This February
Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend:

This week’s Pet of the Week looks a little different, as the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is spreading the love with a special fundraiser happening all month long. February is the month of love, and you can show some love to the adoptable animals at DRHS by sending them a valentine!
All month long, you’re invited to participate in the Be Mine, DRHS Valentine fundraiser, where donations help place hand-drawn valentines on shelter kennels to brighten each animal’s day. There are four valentine levels available: candy heart, kiss, teddy bear, and rose. Every single one is handmade and proudly displayed for all to enjoy.
Not only do the valentines add cheer to the shelter, but the donations directly support animals in need, making it a true win-win. Valentines can be purchased online or in person at the shelter’s front desk, and the goal is to raise $5,000 and make sure every animal receives a couple of valentines this Valentine’s season.
Whether you’re donating as an individual, family, business, or in honor of a loved one or past pet, your support helps the Dubuque Regional Humane Society do what they do best: finding animals for Dubuque families that will love them!
To inquire about any of the animals at the Dubuque Regional Humane Society, you can contact them via phone at 563-582-6766 or via their website. They are located at 4242 Chavenelle Road in Dubuque. The Dubuque Regional Humane Society is committed to building bonds between people and animals through adoptions, community outreach, humane education, and cruelty prevention.
