Carnegie-Stout Welcomes Skinny and the Shakes to Music @ Your Library Event

According to a press release from the Carnegie-Stout Public Library. They will be welcoming in local band, Skinny and the Shakes, for a Music @ your library concert event on Friday, May 5th, in the third-floor auditorium. Doors open at 5:30pm, with the concert beginning at 6. This event is open to all ages. Those age 21 and older are welcome to bring their own wine or beer.

Skinny and the Shakes is a Dubuque-based group that performs original pop and alt-rock tunes with notes of funk and soul. Songwriting is a team effort among the band, which includes Chad Olson on guitar/vocals, James Riley on keys, Ben Dunegan on drums, and Daniel Young on bass. Here's a little sample of what you'll hear from a recent show announcement.

Music @ your library is a First Fridays concert series that features local and regional musicians.
