Adopt Goofball Fritz and Add Some Fun to Your Dubuque Household
Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend:

The Dubuque Regional Humane Society is excited to introduce this week’s Pet of the Week: Fritz! And boy does he have a killer smile!
Fritz is a 1.5-year-old pup weighing in at 72 pounds, and he’s a fun-loving goofball who’s guaranteed to keep his future family smiling. He recently completed training with That’s My Dog as part of their Rising Star program, where he’s been working on basic obedience and learning how to confidently navigate life outside the shelter.
Fritz loves treats, walks, spending time with his favorite people, and keeping up with his training routine. During his training, staff learned that Fritz can do well in a home with other dogs, as long as it’s the right match and appropriate management is in place. Because he can become easily overexcited, Fritz would thrive in a thoughtful, structured environment and would be best suited for a home with older children who can match his enthusiastic energy.
Fritz is currently enjoying time in foster care, so interested adopters will need to schedule an appointment to meet him. He can’t wait to show off everything he’s learned!
