Dubuque Opens Purchase of Services Grant Program Application Process
According to the City of Dubuque website, applications are now open for their Purchase of Services Grant Program. These grants provide support for human service programs in the city of Dubuque that further the City’s goals, objectives, and priorities. Not for-profit and faith-based organizations located in the city providing year-round human services programs are eligible to apply.
Funding for the Purchase of Services Grant program is determined by the City Council during the budget process. The Adopted Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget allocates $100,000 for the competition. The maximum request amount is $25,000 and the minimum request amount is $2,500. The request amount may not exceed 75% of total program costs. Grants are awarded by the City Council based on recommendations from the Community Development Advisory Commission.
Three grant applicant workshops will be provided:
- Tuesday, April 18th, from 10 - 11 a.m. at the at the Housing and Community Development Department, Historic Federal Building, 350 W. 6th St.
- Friday, April 21st, from 1 - 2 p.m. (virtual)
- Thursday, April 27th, from 3 - 4 p.m. (virtual)
Attendance at one of these workshops are encouraged, but not required. An in-person and virtual workshop options are being offered. Registration for the applicant workshops can be found here.
Workshop registration, grant guidelines, and grant applications can be found on the City’s website. Grant applications are due at 5pm on Thursday, May 4th.
