He's no Disney villain, but he is 2 and a half years old  and weighs in at about 80 pounds (much less than a giant snake). In fact, Jafar is a big teddy bear, despite his tough looking exterior.

Jafar is very barrier reactive, which means he barks and growls whenever someone walks past his kennel. This vocal display couldn’t be further from what he is actually like outside of his kennel. Jafar loves toys and especially loves to play games of tug-o-war. He is also a snuggle bug and thinks he’s the perfect size for any lap. Jafar does GREAT with other dogs – he has met many pups with different energy levels within the shelter and has done amazing. He is now our main dog to introduce to others since he has such great manners.
