Dubuque Regional Humane Society’s Pet of the Week is Rogan
Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. Each "Pet of the Week" is brought to you each week by our local animal shelter, where you can make a difference. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend, but this time he definitely isn't furry. Everyone, say hello to Rogan!
Rogan is a 5-year-old male iguana. Interesting fact, ‘Rogan’ means red-head (Irish) and is very fitting not only for this guy’s gorgeous orange coloring but for his fiery personality! He can be a bit shy at first, but once he becomes comfortable, he likes being held and hanging out on your shoulder. DRHS recommends that Rogan finds a forever home with an experienced guardian who knows how to care for iguanas and has the appropriate set up for his comfort and survival.
Take a chance on this handheld dragon! He'll have you falling in love in no time at all.
