Free Rock Show At Dubuque’s Carnegie-Stout Public Library This Friday
According to a press release from the Carnegie-Stout Public Library. They will be welcoming in Dubuque-based rock 'n' roll band Marzipan Mailbox for a Music @ your library concert this Friday, September 1st, in the third-floor auditorium. Doors open at 5:30pm, with the concert beginning at 6. This event is open to all ages. Those age 21 and older are welcome to bring in their own wine or beer.
Marzipan Mialbox is Dubuque's rock'n'roll jam band. Performing original rock tunes, their Facebook page states they are, "A confectionary rock band, Ingredients include: Music, Mail, and Marzipan." Songwriting is a team effort among the band, which includes Addison Aronson on guitar and vocals, Shannon Williams on bass, and Jonathon Purvis on drums.
Music @ your library is a First Fridays concert series that features local and regional musicians.
