Guest Bartending Fundraiser Tonight for United Way at Dolph’s Iron Bar

One of the things I like most about living and working here in the Tri-States is the overwhelming support our residents have for each other.  I can remember dozens of times we as a radio station have asked for your help and you answer the bell each and every time

Whether it's the Annual Kwik Stop Magical Christmas in December, the Veteran's Freedom Center Fundraiser in July, the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon, or numerous other fundraisers we have been a part of, the tri-states have proven their generosity time and time again.

And now you can help raise money for United Way and have a great time doing it.  Your local DRA team from Q Casino and Hotel will be "Guest Bartending" at Gary Dolphins' Iron Bar in the Millwork District today (Fri Aug 19) from 5 pm till 9 pm.  All tips from 5 pm till 9 pm will go towards the "Over the Edge" event to benefit the United Way.

Some familiar faces from Q Casino will be your guest bartenders.  They include Tammy, Chuck (and his wife Becky), and Cindy.  They have volunteered their time to benefit the United Way's upcoming Over the Edge fundraiser where other volunteers will be rappelling down the side of the Midwest One Bank in downtown Dubuque.  Each person going over the edge must raise a minimum of $1,000 for the United Way.  The Over the Edge event is happening Friday, September 9th.  Watch some highlights from last year's event.
