Caitlin Clark Donates $22,000 To Four Eastern Iowa Charities
This weekend will be special for former Iowa Hawkeye legend Caitlin Clark. Her jersey will be retired, and before that happens, she has done something out of the kindness of her heart that shows just how selfless she is.
The Caitlin Clark Foundation announced on Wednesday that four $22,000 grants have been awarded to Iowa charities that inspired Clark while she was a student at the University of Iowa.
“One of my favorite things about Iowa City is the way the community is connected and how everyone supports each other. It is something I felt during my time here and is important to me that I stay connected with. I am proud to be a part of each of these organization’s efforts and the meaningful impact they provide for the people of Iowa,” said Clark.
