Now that the Midterm Elections are well in the rear mirror, it's just about time where we'll start to see different politicians announcing their intentions for election 2024. As of right now, we have several candidates who will try to go up against incumbent Joe Biden.

As November 2024 gets closer and closer, we'll start  to see countless politicians make visits to the Hawkeye State, as they try to nail down the ever important Iowa vote.

Several of the Republican candidates who are trying to go up against Biden are already making stops here. This month will be a busy one for Iowa politics.

Nikki Haley

Presidential candidate Haley paid her second visit to Iowa since announcing her run for the White House this week. She made several stops throughout the state over the course of the past few days. On Wednesday, she was in Council Bluffs then the next day she went to Nevada. On Friday, March 10th the former governor joined Senator Joni Ernst on a panel in Clive.

It was held at the Horizon's Event Center.

Governor Ron DeSantis

The current governor of Florida also was spotted in Iowa this week. While he hasn't yet announced that he would be running for President, he seems to be a strong contender in the Republican party.

DeSantis made an appearance in Davenport at the Rhythm City Casino Resort on Friday He talked about some hot button issues within the party such as book bans, protesting, and migrants.

He is also expected to make another appearance in Des Moines on Friday.

Former President Donald Trump

The former President announced his plans to run in the next election back in 2022. He is the clear frontrunner for the Republican party's candidate for 2024. Trump will be making his first visit to the Hawkeye State since announcing his plans to run in 2024.

As of right now he is expected to stop by Iowa on March 13th and discuss education policy at 6:15 p.m. at Davenport's Adler Theater, according to reports.

We will keep you updated as more candidates announce their stops in Iowa.
