Skillet & Theory of a Deadman at Dubuque County Fair: Listen & Win!
It's officially fair season. Time for fried foods, fun rides, loads of animals, and tons of great tunes. Speaking of which, this Friday the Dubuque County Fairgrounds will rock yet again! The Dubuque County Fair is bringing in two immensely talented and popular groups for a night of rock on Friday, July 28th.
Theory of a Deadman brings a catalogue of 8 amazing albums spanning 21 years of rock. That starts with their first self-titled debut album in 2002 and runs all the way to their latest album Dinosaur released this year.
During that time, theory has racked up loads of nominations and awards including;

Theory of a Deadman consists of lead singer and guitarist Tyler Connolly, guitarist Dave Brenner, bassist Dean Back, and drummer Joey Dandeneau, with each member also providing backing vocals across tracks.

Spanning 27 years and 11 studio albums, Skillet is one of the hardest working rock bands around, being named in the top 5 for that category in 2010 by Songkick.com.
Of their albums, Collide (2003) and Comatose (2006), received Grammy nominations. Two of their albums, Comatose and Awake (2009), are certified Platinum and Double Platinum respectively by the RIAA, while Rise (2013) and Unleashed (2016) are certified Gold. Four of their songs, "Monster", "Hero", "Awake and Alive", and "Feel Invincible", are certified Multi-Platinum (5× Platinum, 3× Platinum, and 2× Platinum respectively), while another two, "Whispers in the Dark" and "Comatose", are certified Platinum, and another four, "Rebirthing", "Not Gonna' Die", "The Last Night", and "The Resistance" are all certified Gold.
Multiple awards fill this bands career, and their track "Monster" has garnered over 3 billion audio streams globally, with their hit "Hero" also over 1 billion.
The bands current line-up consists of original member, bassist, and lead singer John Cooper, along with his wife Korey Cooper on rhythm guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals. The band is filled out by Jen Ledger on drums and vocals, and lead guitarist Seth Morrison.
