When you live in the Midwest, there's always the possibility that weather will throw you a surprise on or around Thanksgiving. One of the Farmer's Almanacs has just shared their prediction for what the Land of Lincoln can expect once we get to the season when all the turkeys are nervous.
Something has changed over the span of a couple weeks. Unless my memory has failed me, Illinois was included in an area Farmer's Almanac said that along with Missouri was in for a more or less ordinary winter. Now, the Land of Lincoln has a forecast described as a 'wet winter whirlwind'.
While portions of southern Minnesota received some decent snowfall over the weekend, it was nothing compared to the massive amount of snow that fell across parts of Iowa, as these pictures show!
