Travel Dubuque, along with the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, has been welcoming all of the large excursion riverboats this summer as they make their first stops in Dubuque.  It's so cool that these riverboats have chosen Dubuque as one of their stops.  The newest boat to arrive is the American Duchess

The American Duchess will make its first stop in Dubuque for the 2022 season on Thursday, July 28, 2022. It is the smallest vessel in the American Queen Voyages Fleet, sleeping 166 passengers. The ship started cruising in 2017 after its rebuild.

Unique to the ship is that it was the former Isle of Capri Casino riverboat, then based out of Bettendorf, IA. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the American Trust Rivers Edge Plaza in the Port of Dubuque at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 28.
