Country Star Walker Hayes Gets Called Up to Play Field of Dreams
A country music star is now on deck to play a concert after the much-anticipated Major League baseball game later this week at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa.
In addition to the big baseball game, the fans in the stands will be treated to a Grammy Nominated Country Star Walker Hayes concert. A 103.3 WJOD regular, Hayes is now scheduled to perform a show Thursday evening after the game between the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds.
Fans may know Walker Hayes for his decade-long career in the spotlight with hits, including "Fancy Like," which is a bit funk and a bit honkytonk. The #1 song has garnered over 95 million YouTube views and put the Applebees restaurant into people's consciousness.
The song "You Broke Up with Me" hit the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts, breaking the Top Ten and peaking at nine.
Released in 2021, "AA" was a hit on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts, peaking at number four.
