In a shocking incident, Tyler James Dazey, a 28-year-old man from Dubuque, Iowa, has been charged with first-degree murder and animal abuse causing death in connection to the brutal killing of his mother, Jennifer Ann Dazey, 46. On Thursday morning, police responded to a report of a deceased woman at the Avoca Street residence. The victim, Jennifer Dazey, was found with "numerous" and "significant" lacerations to her face, neck, and head, with two fingers severed. The family dog also suffered fatal head injuries.
