New BAM Location Opens At Kennedy Mall in Dubuque

I think this store is one of my kids favorites to stop at on a day of shopping. And I get it. Every pop culture phenom, anime, manga, toy, game, story, and more can be found at Books A Million in Dubuque's Kennedy Mall. And now they've open up their new location in the former Younkers store.

This locale move was the direct result of the upcoming Homegoods Store entering that area of the Kennedy Mall. As we last reported, the HomeGoods store is now being built in the 24,217 square foot space next to HuHot Mongolian Grill; the location of the old BAM store, plus 4 bordering storefronts that are currently empty. HomeGoods is one of the major retailers under TJX Companies, including TJ Maxx and Marshalls retail chains. HomeGoods was introduced in 1992 and now operates more than 800 locations across the country, selling a wide variety of homeware, furniture, and décor.

BAM's new 12,212 square foot space in the old Younkers only take up a fraction of the 70,000 square feet previously used by the Younkers women's store, but it looks great and has that amazing new-book scent we all love.

For those of you looking to start a new campaign or brush up on all your D&D skills, the gaming area is the perfect place to start.

Pop Culture is covered in a vast area encompassing Harry Potter, Lords of the Rings, Funko Pops, Squish Mallows, and more.

And of course, the kids are covered. Whether it's Super Mario Brothers, collectibles, toys, or boardgames the kids section is full of bright colors and fun activities.
