Old Dominion Brings ‘No Bad Vibes’ Back to Iowa Next Month
Country music's hottest band is coming back to Iowa soon, and we have several opportunities for you to win your way into the show.
Old Dominion has pretty much taken over the Group of the Year competition at country music's two biggest awards shows. No other band has won Group of the Year from the CMA (Country Music Association) or ACM (Academy of Country Music) Awards since 2018. The group has combined to win the last 12 trophies handed out in that category by voters for the two organizations. It's hard to argue with any of those choices.
The 5-man band burst onto the scene with an EP in 2014, and a debut studio album the next year. The album, "Meat and Candy', featured two number one songs and a third that peaked at number two.
Now five albums into their career, Old Dominion has already reached the top of the charts nine times, and that doesn't include songs the individual members have written for other artists.
When Old Dominion brings their 'No Bad Vibes Tour' to Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines on Thursday, December 7, concertgoers will hear all the band's hits, as well as ones they've written for others.
An Old Dominion concert is always a high-energy great time.
98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin will be giving away tickets to the Des Moines show each weekday from November 27 through the day of the concert, December 7. You can also sign up to win a 4-pack of tickets to the concert below.
*Contest ends Sunday, December 3 at 11:59 p.m.
